Hello everyone.

Discharge current bq27541-g1
[7.5A/1000μsec,0.8A/100μsec] <= 1200 repetitions + 0.2A/6sec
under the following conditions.

The GAUGE uptake current at this time is shown in the figure below.

When the battery was repeatedly charged and discharged under these conditions, the capacity was reduced to 2085mAh (81%) compared to the initial capacity value of 2570mAh after 600 cycles.

On the other hand, GAUGE's SOH is at 61%. (State of Health Load I is set to -7000).

How should I set the "State of Health Load I" to bring the SOH value closer to the capacity ratio (81%) in actual charging/discharging?

Please advise.

If possible, can you please send me the .log file of this occurrence?

Please try changing the SOH Load I to the average current across the entire time period.

Hi Kazuto,

Can you please inform me whether you are communicating to the gauge via the EV2400 and bqStudio or are using your own host system?

This will help me advise you on how to set up the SOH Load I parameter.

Hi Kazuto,

The SOH Load I can be altered by going to Data Memory -> Configuration -> Data seen below. From your view, this entire column should be populated with values from the gauge.

Thanks for the response.
But what I want to know is not "how to set SOH LOAD I" but "how to determine the value of SOH LOAD I".
In other words
[7.5A/1000μsec,0.8A/100μsec] <= 1200 repetitions + 0.2A/6sec
I want to know if setting the value to 1.9A, which is the average value for 8 seconds when this current flows, will cause any problems (e.g., will it stop updating).

Hi Kazuto,

Changing the SOH Load I to 1.9A will not stop the update or cause problems. When the SOH is calculated, the FCC used in the calculation is a simulated value based on the temperature being 25 degrees and the SOH Load I, however has no effect on the actual gauging measurements being taken.
