Hi,

We are in need of a supercapacitor management IC for our operations. The required specifications for this operation include a 2-minute duration at an average current of 1A for a 5V system. Please suggest suitable IC options and the recommended supercapacitor value, or any other relevant suggestions.

    Hi Adi,

    Are you mainly looking for a supercap charger?

    For supercap charger ics, we have

    • BQ25173: 800mA linear charger for 1-4 cells supercap
    • BQ24640: 10A buck charger for 1-8 cells supercap

    We also have BQ33100 supercap manager for cell monitoring and balancing of 2-5 cells supercaps.
