Hey Battery Gauge team,
I have a customer working with the BQ40Z80 for a project and we were hoping you could provide some clarity on the Manufacturer Name and Device Name fields in data flash.
Are these registers able to be written over by customers who might want to use those fields for storing data about their products or are these fields meant to remain untouched and used as read-only? Are there any aspects of the device operation that requires the default values to remain the same?
