HI,

The customer tested BQ25798 using battery management software(Battery Management Studio) and found that the write register could not be written. The charging current was rewritten, but it will recover in a few seconds. Please help analyze the reason and provide software usage tutorials；

    Hi Jeno,

    First, I recommend using the Field View for easier understanding.  Second, all of our I2C host controlled devices have a watchdog timer that resets several registers back to default if it expires. When using BQSTUDIO, the BQ25792EVM users' guide has step by step instructions which include how to disable WD timer.
