TPS7H6003-SP: Independent input mode, dead time

Part Number: TPS7H6003-SP

In the description of the Input Interlock Protection (8.3.7) are we to assume that using a resistor between DLH and ground, of some value between 100k and 220k, somehow sets the universal deadtime for the device when using the device in independent mode?  The text in this paragraph, "There is no fixed time deglitching for this feature [interlock protection] in order to not impact the propagation delay and dead time of the driver." leads me to believe the resistor on the DLH pin somehow still controls the dead time for the device.  Can someone expand on this description?

Thanks,

Mark

  • Hey Mark,

In IIM mode w/ Input Interlock Protection, whatever is the input controls the dead time.
If the device "deglitched" Im sure it would mess with whatever the input is doing.

The driver does not control the deadtime during this feature.

    Thanks,
    Daniel
