Hi Hong,
That's a fantastic idea I never thought of.
so by simply paralleling them,we could get higher driving ability; are there any additional ciruit needed to make them work properly?
by the way, if no drop-in, what is the closest ones having 5-6A?
Appreciate it a lot.
It looks just simply connect INA and INB together and connect OUT and OUTB together, as shown in Figure 4 of the datasheet page 9.
Hi Hong,
Thank you very much for the reply.
Figure 4 shows paralleling two input/ouput in the same chip, in my case which is the same usage as UCC2895EVM-442, I want to parallel two chips, i.e. the input /output of one chip are paralleled with the ones of the other chip( input A and output A of the first chip are paralled with input A and output A of the second chip, the input B and output B of the first chip are paralleled with the input B and output B of the second chip).
this should be doable too, as it appalys the same principle as figure 4, am I right?
Thank you,
Yes, I do see some applications doing that and ok. If needed, add 3 to 10-ohm gate resistor - but seems not needed from my experience.
