Team,
Can you please review the schematics and help debugging the circuit form customer?
I will share the schematics offline.
The GaN FET has apparently blown several time.
The goal is to boost from 60V to 175V.
Thanks in advance,
Anber

Hi Anber,
Thanks for using the e2e forum.
If you do not feel comfortable sharing the schematic in this forum, feel free to send me a private message via e2e chat.
Additional specs I need are:
- Full Vin range
- Vout
- max load conditions
To speed up the review process, you can directly fill in our quickstart calculator tool and attach it as well.

Hi Niklas,
I shared the schematics offline.
How can we move forward now?
Thanks in advance,
A.
Hello AnBer,
Can you please check the voltage on the drain of the GaN when switching? Please check as well the temperature of the GaN?
Please check the datasheet of the diode from switch node to the output, if this has high capacitance, a lot of current goes through the FET when it turns on as this capacitance needs to be discharged and possibly the GaN does not like this reverse current.
Best regards,
Brigitte
