Hi,
During the defect review, if the defect symptom is reproduced, it has been found that the AC pin on the BQ24032A appears to have a reverse voltage.
Issue:
Output voltage drop in the wireless charging module (Rx module).
Normal output voltage is 5V, but 4.3V drop when charging for a long time.
Reboot and lock-up occur after a certain period of time while operating at the battery voltage due to the lack of power supply in the product with the RX module applied.
When the product is continuously charged in a charged state (Sleep_Current 200 mA) for a long time (about 10 to 20 days, about twice a month), the Vout voltage of the RX module goes down to 5V -> 4.3V.
In case of wireless charging problems, if the Tx module does not provide voltage, the Vout of the RX module should be Low (0V).
However, if you look at the graph above, it goes down to about Vout 4.3V on the RX module and then follows the battery voltage level.
The customer says that the reverse voltage of the battery appears to be reversed through the AC pin based on the graph.
Please give us your review opinion on this part.
