Hi,

In my application I'm using 4 BQ79656EVM connected in daisy chain network.

I'm trying to operate these with the TC377 Eval board, I'm able to wake all devices. I'm getting perfect wave forms for the read_reg and write_reg commands, in logic analyzer. I compared with the MSPM0G3507, it is same but still not able to get any response from the BQ79656EVM.

I'm using the BQ79600 UART sample code for the reference from TI secured recourses.

Please help me regarding the same.

Hi,

Can you send the wake waveform used with the MSPM0G3507? Also, are you using a bridge device?

No, we are not using the bridge device (BQ79600).

This is the wake waveform used with MSPM0G3507. (with 2.75ms t_off)

This is Auto addressing command-

Read command -

Response from BQ, after Read command-

Here in all images the Tx represents Tx pin of MSPM0G3507 and Rx represents the Rx pin of the MSPM0G3507.

Hi,

The sample code is designed to work with the TMS570 evaluaion platform. In order to use it with other MCU, the code will need to be reworked with that MCU's driver API's.

Hi,

Actually, we did the same. And we are getting the same patterns form the other MCU as well (which we are getting with the TMS570 or MSPM0).

Like, there are some read, write commands are there in the example code, same pattern we are getting for the TC377 as well.

But we are not getting any response from the BQ756576 EVM, only it is just waking up.

Hi,

I would suggest trying to integrate the CDD software found in the 71x folder on mysecure. Other than that, there is limited support we can provide for this MCU.
