Customer is attempting to operate UCD7232 at 500 kHz at a duty cycle > 97%. This results in an off time of < 3% * 2 us = 60 ns, but probably actually much less given slew rate and cross conduction timing.
The high side driver appears to not work properly and eventually a Fault condition asserts.
The data sheet does not specify any sort of minimum off time to recharge to boot capacitor.
Generally it seems around 150 ns to 200 ns of off time is needed for this purpose in most applications that use a bootstrapped high-side driver.
What is the minimum off time requirements of the UCD7232?
Thanks, -Steve
