BQ76952: After OTP the gain value is different

I have a query need your help.

The chip has programmed OTP, and I use MCU to read the value.

OTP is at the 0x9180 address, Cell 1 Gain writes 12117, and then uses the MCU to read the 0x9180 address when booting for comparison.

After comparison, we found that each gain value has a little difference. The following are the comparison values.

OTP Cell 1 Gain writes parameter 12117, MCU reads 12111

OTP ADC Gain writes parameter 4038, MCU reads 4041

OTP Pack Gain writes parameter 33882, MCU reads 33788

OTP TOS Gain writes parameter 33705, MCU reads 34286

OTP LD Gain writes parameter 34164, MCU reads 33937

Does it normal?

Hello Star,

Was OTP actually successful? If OTP is successful, it should have been written correctly. Did they read the registers prior to OTP to confirm the values?

They need to ensure each step in the BQ769x2 Calibration and OTP Programming Guide. Were all of these followed?

Yes, I have followed OTP programming guide,

I am read command 0x00A0 OTP_WR_CHECK() is 0x71,

Hello Loren,

0x71 does not indicate that the part was properly programmed. Can you list your steps to OTP program? Did you confirm everything was properly programmed before the OTP command?

Did you check all your registers to ensure OTP was done?

Hi Loren,

Can you list the steps you follow to program OTP? They need to follow the steps in the BQ769x2 Calibration and OTP Programming Guide.

Looking above it seems like the OTP was not successfully program. 0x71 on the OTP_WR_CHECK() indicates the conditions for programming are not met, please refer to the TRM Section 3.2 for additional details on this register and make sure to follow the programming guide mentioned above.
