BQ78350: SOC Jump to 7%

Hello Philipp,

Please share your .gg file and the log of the tests so we can review. Also can you share your GPCCEDV results and data submitted? We need more information in order to provide better suggestions.

From the log it looks like the SOC is dropping at EDV2, so I suspect the GPCCEDV may not have been completed or there is large variation in load/temperature between each cycle.

Hi Wyatt, thanks for your answer.

There are 2 .gg files. First one is the initial one which we created by using high/low/room temp - high/low rate. The other one is the current version where we adjusted some parameters but we are still not happy with the results.

As you can see the GPCCEDV are looking really good so I dont know, looking forward to hear from you!

Can you please provide the srec file? I would like to check the ChemID. 

Did you match the ChemID by using the GPCCHEM tool? Please provide the report.

It looks like the SOC jump is more critical al low temperatures.

Hi Jose,

attached find the last version of the srec file. The ChemID is correct, we did not mathc the ChemID by using GPCCHEM because the exact cell was already in the ChemID table.

Now that we changed some CEDV parameters we are quite happy with the result, but it would still be nice to know where the problem was.

Hi Jose,

please find attached the .gg file with the working CEDV config. The design capacity is 1340mAh and the learned FCC here is 1322mAh so it is quite ok. For the other CEDV parameters we had 1240mAh as mentioned above.
