TPS2663: TPS26633 : How does the overload protection operate when the mode-pin is open?

Hi team,

Customer thinks to use TPS26633 with MODE-pin open.

In this setting, the overload protection will operate as the table 9-1, but they want to udnerstand how the protection operate correctly, becuase the table 9-1 is confusing.

Q1.  Is it OK that the figure below(that is one of figure 8-2) shows the colored description I highlighted in table 9-1? 

Q2. When the load goes under I(OL) within tCL_PLIM(dly) like below figure, is it ok that the device doesn't enter latch OFF?

Q3  They assume that  the load can go under I(OL) and go above  I(OL) within tCL_PLIM(dly) like below figure. Does the deivce start to count tCB(dly) and tCL_PLIM_FLT(dly) newly when the load goes above I(OL) as the figure?
