Hi,
I need to develop a current pulse generator with the following characteristics:
- output peak current regulated by a MCU from 5 to 250 Amps with steps of 0.5Amps.
- output voltage between 6 to 15 Volts (depending on the load)
- Minimum pulse width = 5 msec
- Max pulse width = 300 msec
- Max Duty cycle = 50%
I was thinking to use a Multiphase current controller with a current limit regulation referenced to GND, to be able to change the value by an MCU (PWM, DAC, or programmable potentiometer).
Any comments or suggestions?
