TPS23730: Ppeak Fail - Sifos Setting

Hi expert,

Customer test Sifos on their board with TPS23730 and see Ppeak failed.

What I found the problem might be the Type power set wrong so the result failed. Type1 and Type3 seems reversed. 

Would you please advise how to config the Sifos properly? Or it may be other reasons?

    Hi Allan,

    Do you have a load adjustment based on PSE's handshake? For example, with a Type-1 PSE, TPH=H, TPL=H,BT=H, the load is restricted by its local MCU to Type-1 power; with a Type-3 PSE, TPH=L, TPL=H,BT=L, the load can work as the Type-3 power. 

    If you do not have such an active power adjustment, it may not be considered as a failure if the PD is Type-3 power load and your tested power setting is Type-1.
