TPS63031: Inquiry Regarding TPS63031DSK Regulator IC Configuration Discrepancy

Hi,

We are designing our custom board design featuring the TPS63031DSK regulator IC, In our schematic we connect the VIN pin[5th pin] with VINA pin[8th pin]. However, in your datasheet's typical application circuit, there is no connection between these pins, So there is no voltage supplied to the VINA pin.

Could you please confirm whether our circuit is acceptable or not?

Hi Nitheesh,

Between VIN and VINA, there is a resister internal. Please see figure 3 in DS.

If you think Vsys is clear enough, your circuit is acceptable.

Hi,

Our Vsys is around 4.5V. Is it enough?

Hi Nitheesh,

I mean if your Vsys has many high frequency noise, it is better to have a low frequency pass filter.
