UCC28600: UCC28600 120-W Evaluation Module

Thank you for the response.

However, the alternative that you have listed are not coupled inductor as the ones used in designator L2 for the UCC28600 120-W Evaluation Module. Your listed alternative will not have connection to ZCD. Kindly check it.

Also, is part  number SSRH24NH-20310, Kemet, Common Mode Chokes / Filters 250VAC 31mH 2A 11.5mm DCR=214mOhms suitable for L1 replacement?

Sorry for my mistake. Definitely you will need a replacement inductor with provision for ZCD required for UCC28051 which I missed out.

Please check the following specifications, but I am not sure on the saturation current.

Or, the option which you suggested looks ok. I am not able to see many direct replacements, may something custom needs to be designed. Most of the magnetics vendors like Wurth Electronik, Coilcaft should be able to help with this.

I know that the evaluation board was designed for 120W, 19.4, 6A, Can I change it to 240W by changing the transformer T1 to 24V, 10A?  Part number 750315340, manuf: Wurth Elektronik, https://www.we-online.com/components/products/datasheet/750315340.pdf.

What other parameters do I need to change to make it work with the new transformer?

Are you using LLC topology for this? The part number you have referenced is LLC transformer.

240W will be too much on the flyback stage. You might have to go ahead with LLC for this power. The entire PFC also stage also needs to be resigned,

Oops I guess I chose the wrong transformer. Could you please recommend any fly back transformer similar to FA2443-AL but is 24V, 6A, or 20V, 6A, former is preferable.

Thank you for the swift reply. 

I could not get the datasheet for RLTI-1100. 

Regarding the 750344527,  it does not meet the power requirement of 150W. I see that it has two secondary output 20V, 5A and 16V, 150mA. Can I connect it in series to get 36V, 5A? Connecting it in parallel will not still meet the power requirement of at least 150W. 

Regarding, 750315340, it seems like a perfect fit but the frequency is 60kHz. The UCC28600 typical frequency is 130kHz, Max 140kHz depending on the mode. In this sense, will this transformer 750315340 be able to operate  effectively in that region given that its frequency is 60kHz? Moreover the power required is 24V, 6.2A.

I am not able to see ready options from our reference designs.

Maybe contacting coilcraft or wurth for a custom transformer might be better or they might have  more options to suggest.
