BQ34Z100-G1: BQ34Z100-G1

Part Number: BQ34Z100-G1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: GPCCHEM, GPCRB

I have seen two different methods for creating data for the GPCCHEM tool.  One shows just using one charge/relation cycle at room temp and another shows 6 files, which cover 3 temperatures and 2 discharge rates.  Can you comment on which would be better.  Thanks.

  • Hello Eric,

The GPCCHEM uses one cycle at room temperature testing, this is used to obtain the ChemID for your battery pack. The GPCRB
tool uses multiple cycles at different temperatures to improve gauging at very low and/or very high temperatures. The GPCCHEM
tool must be used first before attempting the GPCRB tool. The GPCRB tool is recommended if your application will used in
    extreme temperatures.

    Sincerely,
    Nick Richards
