BQ24133: Charger Behavior when exceeding I,DPM Current

Hello TI Engineers,

I would like to know how the charger IC along with the ACFET and RBFET behaves if you exceed the your Set Input Current (I,DPM).

We know that the output charge current decreases as system load increases when the set input current (I,DPM) is reached.

Assuming the the input source (power adapter) can handle more current than the set input current (I,DPM) and all the current now goes to the System Load, 

If the System load tries to draw more current, will the ACFET and RBFET turn OFF when I,DPM is exceed? Or will it just continue to allow current to pass through?

    If the system load attempts to draw more current than IDPM, the ACFET would  turn off. It will reduce the charging current to zero.
