A 60W USB supply was plugged into port B, then approximately 1/2 second later a USB -A PC port was connected to port A. The PC motherboard is now damaged.
Power is only supplied via the USB ports. Boot pin strapping as follows:
When Port B is sinking power, there can be no connection to Port A, unless sourcing is negotiated. No sourcing should occur in the set up that caused the failure since it was connected to a legacy USB port. Does my issue relate to how I have bootstrapped things?
