I am using BQ33100 in my design for a 5-cell configuration. For implementing the cell balancing feature i referred the application schematic given in the datasheet, and found that the mosfet used for cell balancing feature for the 1P capacitor seems to be different from the other four mosfets. Is there any particular reason for that? Can anyone help in understanding the design.

Cell Balancing is achieved in the BQ33100 by connecting an external bypass load to each capacitor. For VC1-VC4 this is done using a MOSFET and resistor. VC5 (1P) bypass is enabled through VC5BAL pin. Below is some useful information for cell balancing with the BQ33100.

MOSFET 5 gate is enabled by VC5BAL, while MOSFET 1-4 gates are enabled by VC1-4. See image below.
I am unsure why this design choice was made.
