Hi,

I am getting nfault toggle while waking up the BMS.

While checking for the reason Fault_Summary is 00100010

which is corresponding to Fault_otp & fault_sys.

> Fault_otp is 00010000(CUST_CRC) and fault_sys is 00010000(DRST)

What can be the possible reasons?

Hi,

Whenever a wake ping is sent to the device, the device undergoes a digital reset. This is the cause of the DRST bit being sent. This is expected behavior. As for the CUST_CRC bit, this indicates that a CRC error has occurred. Have you ever written to the device OTP? Are you able to clear this fault?

Thank you for your response.

No we haven't flashed otp.

I got the point about DRST, and also I can see in data sheet that WAKE ping(2mS) can create this DRST.

So if I am flashing otp, Wake ping causing DRST fault can be eliminated?

No, the wake ping causing a digital reset cannot be changed unfortunately.
