we are building a ±12V @ 4A output where input is 230VAC 50Hz is it possible to build the dual supply using single IC? if there is a reference design please let me know.

Hi,

You can use a flyback topology to have two secondary side windings each 12V.

It looks no reference designs can meet your requirements. A step-by-step design can be found in the UCC28C50 datasheet.
