LP8863EVM: Two questions about driving with an external power supply and SEPIC mode

1. Is there a way to drive all the LEDs with an external power supply without using the boost feature at all? 

2. How do I facilitate the SEPIC mode which caps the maximum voltage at 24V?

    Yes, LP8863 can setup as a external power supply. see the datasheet description in below.

    2. How do I facilitate the SEPIC mode which caps the maximum voltage at 24V? 

    I cannot understand this question clearly.
