BQ28Z610: Unable to write register in I2C

Part Number: BQ28Z610
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO

Hi all,

My customer writes a register in I2C to change the Design capacity, but cannot change it from default value (4400).

The customer is not using BQstudio.

Import 0x3C/3D Design capacoty reads the default value.

Then, my customer entered the nominal value of the battery in 0x3C/3D, but it stayed at 4400.

I thought I was in security mode and I read 0x0054 using AltManufacturerAccess and data=0x00006100. (Full access mode)

0x00/01 manufacture control results still 0x0204.

We are not evaluating evm but actual machine.

Are there any other registers to set?

Best Regards,

Ryusuke
