ULN2003A: Difference between ULN2003A and ULN2003AI.

Hi team,

I'd like to know about the difference between ULN2003A and ULN2003AI for VOH.

Why is there a difference between Vs-50mV and Vs-20mV?
Does the internal structure make a difference?

Hi Kengo-san,

The difference between the two is ambient operating temperature - ULN2003A is rated for -40 to 70C whereas ULN2003AI is rated for -40 to 105C. The difference in VOH spec is due to the ULN2003AI's wider temperature range.

Hi Patrick-san,

Exactly, I understood that temperature ranges are different.
But, according to the datasheet, VOH is different under the same conditions as TA=25.
I'd like to know why this spec is different.

Hi Kengo-san,

Since this is an old device, we haven't recently defined the specifications. However, I believe that the same value for 25C and across full temp was used for extra security - I don't think the internal structure makes a difference.
