BQ25185: Wake up from factory mode and charge enable

Hey,

I am currently implementing the BQ25185 in my design. The data sheet is not clear about Factory Mode, after long press on MR/TS the IC enter Factory Mode, ok. but how dose it leave it ? 

The data sheet says on one part that its MR/TS job to wake up the IC but on other section it says that only VIN insertion will work, which one is true ?

Regarding the charge enable, if I want to consistently charge the battery when a valid VIN is present, can I just tie the CE pin to GND permanently ?

    Hi Bar Halivni,

    Thank you for pointing out that oversight in the datasheet. The MR/TS pin can be used to enter Factory mode but in order to leave it then VIN must be asserted. I'll be sure to have this clarified in the datasheet. Tying CE to GND is a valid solution for always enabling charge.
