I think we want to confirm the base line for judgement of VIH and VIL.

The base line of ground will react to judged threshold.

In fact, I want to check the base point. As you saw the waveform, the minimum is -0.2xV.

If I based on -0.2V as reference point, that might be no problem.

If I based on 0V as GND reference point, the -0.2xV is out of spec for VIL.

And this reference voltage point will affect VIH/VIL and timing judgment.

This is what I want to check with you.

If the signal voltage is not high enough, that will impact timing to meet electrical spec, why it will be fine?

Please help to clarify again.

Of course, the key is to resolve the reference voltage (base line) between control board and LED board for sure.

Just to what reference voltage should be selected in this case.
