Hello, 

I'm working on a bootloader for TMS570LS3137 chip. For this microcontroller we use TPS65381A-Q1 chip for power management and external watchdog. 

is it ok to set the status of DIAG_EXIT_MASK to 1 to hold the state machine in DIAGNOSTIC state and clear in once entering the application SW?

The manual for TPS65381A-Q1 mentions that DIAG_EXIT_MASK should be set to 1 only for software debug. Does this bootloader is considered a software debug?
