TPS27SA08: TPS27SA08CPWPR Substitute for 48 V systems current carrying capacity 10A

Hi there,

We currently use your Industrial high-side switch in one of our applications article number TPS27SA08CPWPR.
This switch is designed for 24V usage.
Now we want to build a 48V version of the same product, therefore we are looking for an alternative switch.

The only one I could find so far is the TPS1HTC30-Q1.
This one can handle the necessary 48V but has only a maximum current carrying capacity of 6A.
Unfortunately, that's not enough for us. We are looking for a switch that can deal with up to 10A.

My question is if there is any switch available that is a suitable substitute for either the TPS27SA08CPWPR or the TPS1HTC30-Q1 which can handle the necessary
48V and the maximum current carrying capacity of 10A?

And if there is at the moment nothing available are there any plans to launch such a component?

    Patrick,

    We currently do not have any integrated-FET solution that would be able to handle 10A sustained DC current. The recommendation would be to use a FET controller such as the TPS4811-Q1.

    What is the end equipment that would be using the DC 10A?
