Hello,
Can you please provide more context? Maybe a waveform of VBUS, SW, SYS, and IBUS when this occurs? Also, what happens to STAT and PG when this is observed? I need more information to debug this observation.

The power path system kills batteries, when charging it will charge the battery till is overcharged thus causing the battery to be short and be drained vary quick to around 3V.
My client cant perform any measusrements.
Will be ok if we pull the OTG to GND?
We are using USB-C and does not have a OTG pin (Unless you know a work around)
Hello,
If not using OTG, please pull to GND.
What resistor settings is the customer using to modify the battery charge voltage regulation on VSET and do they meet the battery specification provided by the manufacturer?

Mike Emanuel
Please can you check the resistor configuration.
Since this is a standalone chip, can they confirm that the current resistor configuration allows for the system to cutoff charging a 4.2V +- 0.05V without exceeding that voltage
Hello,
We are going to need the switching waveforms I requested.
Also, we are going to need to check the battery manufacturer specification to make sure it is compatible with your settings.

Mike Emanuel
