I serch LM5148 simlar with LTC7891. My question is LM5148 can support 310W output?
Vin=48V
Vo=5-31V adjust voltage

Yes, it is capable to deliver this much power, but will ultimately come down to thermal management.

Hi David,
Due to the customer using the test result of LT7891EVM to compare with LM5149EVM.
I know test conditions and components are different.
I need some information to prove that it can work normally at 200W.
And the parts temperature meets customer requirements.
BTW, I use Webench to simulate but temp always over 80 degrees.

As I mentioned, will come down to thermal management. compare the drive strength of the LTC device to ours, this is what it will come down to in terms of losses etc. We have a very generous gate driver for minimal losses, if the LTC device can deliver the power, there is no reason why our device cannot. Use the calculator spreadsheet to calculate losses and adjust thermal resistance to estimate temp rise.
