I have tried the combination of all addresses in the board, with correspondent changes of addresses in the GUI. I also tried address 0x14. I tried external 5V supply and internal 3.3V supply. I measured the voltages across the board; the device is powered up, I²C pullups are correct, enable pin is active. I deleted my old version of the GUI and downloaded a new one. I also updated the firmware in the USB2ANY. The board shows connected, but no registers can be read. I am monitoring the I²C with a logic analyzer. I've tried all 3 I²C frequencies (10kHz, 100kHz, and 400kHz).
Any ideas on how to debug this problem?
