Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ40Z50-R2, , BQSTUDIO
Hi there—I have two EV2400 interface adapters which I use to communicate with a BQ40Z50-R2 implemented in a proprietary design.
One EV2400 operates flawlessly; both it and the attached BQ40Z50-R2 are automatically recognized by BQStudio, which can read and write BQ40Z50-R2 registers by way of the EV2400.
The other EV2400, however, is no longer recognized by BQStudio. What used to show an EV2400 version at the top of the left-hand dashboard is now blank. All three LEDs are illuminated and the I2C clock and data pins are pulled high, but they never toggle.
All variables (target hardware, USB cable and PC) used with the working EV2400 remain constant. I have tried different target hardware, USB cables and another PC, but the problem remains; it follows the specific EV2400. The problem appeared after roughly one week of gentle use.
Are there any additional troubleshooting steps I can take, or do you recommend I submit the adapter to the distributor for RMA? Thank you in advance for your assistance.
