TPS2HCS10-Q1: SLEEP or LIMP Home

Part Number: TPS2HCS10-Q1

Hi team,

Is there a pass from SLEEP state to LIMP_HOME state?

If I turn off VDD in SLEEP mode, is there a chance to move to LIMP_HOME mode?

Since it is described in the datasheet below, I wonder the state of the device when I turn off VDD in SLEEP state.

"The VDD and VBB pins of the IC are expected to be powered in the SLEEP state."

regards,

The only way that the device will exit sleep mode is by toggling the CS pin. You can disable VDD during the sleep mode state, but would have to ensure that VDD is powered before waking up the device via the SPI CS pin.

Do note that it is a requirement to have the MCU sourced from the same supply as VDD so that the SPI communication levels are at the same potential.

    Best Regards,
    Tim
