TPS631010: Connect VOUT to each other

Hi All,

I think that for DCDC converters without stackable feature, it is not possible to connect two VOUTs, is my understanding correct?

Customer wants to connect the respective outputs of TPS631010 and TPS61021A.

Hello Tao,

Sorry, I misunderstood a little.
The customer wants to OR the outputs of TPS56330 and TPS61021A.
In the customer's circuit, start the TPS61021A after starting the TPS56330.
When TPS61021A starts up, voltage is applied to VOUT, but is there a problem?

It is possible to share schematics.

Hi Shuji,

If you can ensure the TPS56339 has already fully start up (3.69V already established) and then start upTPS61021A(3.3V target), then it'll be okay to directly connect two Vout （No problem on TPS61021, please confirm with buck team to see if TPS56339 allows such application）.

If not, it'll also be okay if the OR diodes are applied. No problem on TPS61021.
