UCC27324: NC pin can connect to VDD pin or not

Hi Expert,

My customer want to use UCC27324 & UCC27424 with same layout placement .

So they want to know if UCC27324 NC pin connect to VDD pin is acceptable or any side effect you will not recommend ?

Those pins aren't connected to anything, so I see no issue with it.

Hi Expert,

The UCC27324 these pin(NC) have any circuit or trace connect by internal IC side ?

Because our customer want to Co-layout with UCC27424.

If they use NC pin to connect to VDD pin will happen any side effect or not ?

Hi Eddie,

There are no bonds between the NC pins and the die in the UCC27324. May I also ask why the customer wants to use the UCC27324? You can pitch in the UCC27624 as a replacement as that is our newest generation for the dual-channel low-side driver.
