DISTINGUISH EACH TPS7A

hello all

I have bought a TPS7A3001 and TPS7A4901. My problem is that somebody open the bags and take out the components, but this person doesn't remember what bag is from each component. so i was wondering,is any form to distinguish is the component is a TPS7A3001 or TPS7A4901.

Hello Santiago,

Here is what I found regarding your question about package marking:

Each device is uniquely marked with the device name code found on the second line-row of the package marking.

TPS7A4901 Device name = PTJQ

TPS7A3001 Device name = PSZQ

The first line/row of the package marking is the Year Month (YM) date code.

The device names on the package can found at this web page: http://focus.ti.com/general/docs/partmarking/partmarkinghome.jsp

after entering the part number and selecting the "Device" button

Also see the package marking information at the web folder for the respective part found in the "Sample & Buy" table under the "Top Side Marking" column.

Ion the same subject, is there "somewhere" a reverse table ?

I mean if I have a component marqued PTJQ is there a way to find that is a TPS7A4901 ?

Hi Francois,

The same link in the previous post can also find the PART# based on the top side marking. Simply type the part marking, select "part mark", and then click "look up".
