TPS25990: Nonstandard programming procedure

Part Number: TPS25990

Dear Team,

My customer has a question about programming the TPS25990. Can you please let me know if what they are asking for can be done?

Regarding the following point I have a question:

  1. Apply a power supply in the range of 10 V to 13 V to VDD. If VIN and VDD are connected through a RC filter, the power supply needs to be connected to VIN.

Can I left VIN in this process to 5V and only bring VDD to over 10V?

If I would apply 10V to VIN and the Mosfet is switching then parts of my circuit after the TPS25990 will be damaged. This part is only designed to handle 5V.

So I want to know if I could apply only to the VDD pin the 10V to program a proper UVLO threshold level?

Thank you,

Daniel
