BQ24610: BQ24610 can not charge issue

Part Number: BQ24610

The customer design with BQ24610, the PCBA made by EVM Gerber used on the official website. During the test we found that both HIDRV and LODRV have waveforms, but the battery cannot be charged.

Attached the schematic

CH2: Q3 Gate

CH3: Q4 Gate

CH4: N/A

Please help check it.

What is the input voltage/ current?

What is the battery voltage?

What is the status of STAT1 and STAT2?

The input voltage is 16V-21V, no current as charging process doesn't happen.

Battery voltage is 7.6V, it is 2 cell battery which full charged voltage is 8.4V

STAT1 ON, STAT2 OFF

Hello Ray,

Did you make any changes to the original schematic or gerber files?

Can you capture a waveform of PH/TP8?

What is the voltage on SRN/SRP?

Do you have a system load?

R25 is changed to 300k, 6.8uH is rate 2.2A, all other components are same as suggested BOM.
We don't have system load.

CH2： SRP

CH3： SRN

Hello Ray,

Can you try adding a DC load ( 2.2A CC mode) to the battery output ( with battery removed), and recapture the PH waveform.
