BQ33100: FAULT PIN

Hi Team,

I tried to make fault pin to drive high and to drive low, by sending SBS commands 0x0030 for making it HIGH and 0x0031 for making it LOW. But the pin remain unchanged. And the BQ33100 is in UNSEALED mode. Am I missing something. Can anyone help in this.

How should i configure the fault register? I did not configure the fault register.

This is dependent on use case.

Thanks Evan for the details. But in datasheet it is said that the we could manually control the pin through Manufacturer access commands. Snippet of the same is attached herewith. Could you please help in this regard.

Hi Vishnu,

Are you using EVSW and ev2400?

If you are using a different micro controller are other SMBus cmds working?

If you are using EVSW + ev2400, can you share your .gg file.

You already said the device is unsealed but I recommend verifying.
