LMR14050-Q1: PSPICE QUESTION

Hello,

I'm new to pspice and I've been trying to import the model for this part.

Here's what I've done so far. >tools>generate part> selected downloaded LMR14050S_TRANS.lib file > create new part > Ok

Now I get a green dot saying this error "WARNING(ORNET-1119): The part/device cannot be simulated. No PSpiceTemplate found on U1, ignoring this part/device from simulation netlist. Use Place->PSpice Component...->Search to place simulation ready part"

What file is a pspice template? Is there any easier way to import models?

In the .OLB there are multiple components. I used the same one as the user in the thread above "LMR14050SDDA_TRANS" to get the error above. It seems this is because it does not have the "pspice" symbol, shown in red in the image. (included for context).

Also in .OLB is "LMR14050S_TRANS". This one I can simulate this component but I get this error "ERROR(ORPSIM-15461): Incorrect number of interface nodes for X_U2.". I'm assuming this is because it has pin 10 as "PARAMS:SS=1. Not sure why it has a parameter as a pin?

Just for context I'm using PSPICE for TI, and the part I'm using is not in the preinstalled TI library. Any help would be appreciated. Not sure why it's so difficult to import and simulate.

I followed David Baba's steps in the previous thread and was able to simulate finally. I think my issue was that I created my own blank project, then tried to generate the part. I am curious on why I couldn't do that...

but for now I'll just edit the example provided in the zip.
