CSD95490Q5MC: Regarding Integrated Current and Temperature Sensing Functionality

Part Number: CSD95490Q5MC
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CSD95485RWJ

Hello,

I am interested in using the CSD95490Q5MC power stage primarily for its high continuous current rating. I requested the datasheet. In the meantime, I was hoping to get an answer for some questions I had

1- Is it possible to use the power stage without using the integrated current/temperature sensing functionality, and if so, are there recommendations for what to do with the corresponding pins like IOUT, LSET, REFIN, VOS, and TAO. Should they be connected as recommended in the full datasheet or is there room to simplify the circuit design (through omission of resistors and reference voltage rails or leaving pins floating) while still ensuring the device operates normally? An earlier question in the forum had recommendations for the REFIN pin but I was wondering about the other pins

2- Does this also apply to the similar power stage with the alternative footprint (CSD95485RWJ)

Thanks,

Hosam
