BQ25616: Unused DP and DM pins setting

Hi team,

Do we have any recommendation of unused D+ / D- ? (no USB negociation and limited by ILIM)

They'd like to design new version with changing from USB charging to wireless charging. So they'd like to know unused D+ / D- setting.

First they considered these pins are left floating but currently they think these pins will be pulled down to GND to be more stable against the noise.

Hi Toshiaki,

If D+/D- are not used, please leave both pins open, then the input current limit will be set by ILIM pin.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your reply but we've got an additional question from the customer to double-check.

They were trying to change it from open to pull-down due to their concern about robustness against external noise.

Do you think pins should be left open or it's ok to change from open to pull-down ?
