Runtime Errors in bqEasy

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ27500

I'm trying to use the Configure Wizard in bqEasy for the bq27500 and bq20z75 with the EV2300 Version 9.59. and Windows XP Service Pack 3.

With the bq27500 I receive a Runtime Error 11 "Divide by Zero" Error and with the bq20z75 a Runtime Error 13 "Type Mismatch"at step 2H.

I cannot seem to use the Wizard to write the Data Flash parameters.

Is there something I'm missing or is there a problem with bqEasy?

The bq27500 is Version 1.3 and the bq20z75 Version 1.5.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the EV2300 software and also tried runnning on another computer both to no avail.

Frustration is setting in!!!  Please help.

Thanks

  • Hi Don, No advice to help with your issue, in fact I have a similar one of my own. BqEasy is being used to configure a 4 cell, 11 piece pack using 3400 mah cells. I had been getting errors at the time data was to be written suggesting short circuit and max load currents were too low for the 5.097 mohm sense resistor, upped all currents to exceed 0.05 v but still runtime error 6 pops up. I am also using XP and wonder if this may be the culprit.
Have you managed to resolve your problems yet?? If so how as I suspect mine have a similar source.
