TPS7A4501-SP: -SP, /EM, and commercial die equivalency

Part Number: TPS7A4501-SP
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CDCLVP111-SP, LMK04832-SP, LMX2615-SP, TPS50601A-SP, , TPS7H1101A-SP, TPS7H3301-SP, TPS7H4001-SP

Hi,

For many of TI's radiation hardened products, you also provide an /EM version intended for prototyping. In some cases these parts are only characterized to 25 degC. We are trying to gather context to help our judgment about how to use these parts.

We have a critical set of questions related to the die pedigree:

  • In all cases listed below, are the /EM product using the same die as the flight version of the product? The only difference then would be the screening & testing seen by each?
    • If so, are the /EM die explicitly rejects that failed at higher temps, or just unscreened?
  • In any of the cases listed below, do the /EM products use the same die as a commercial equivalent? Or are these all custom die tailored to the radiation hardened part?

Here are the parts we are using & interested in:

  • CDCLVP111-SP
  • LMK04832-SP
  • LMX2615-SP
  • TPS50601A-SP
  • TPS7A4501-SP
  • TPS7H1101A-SP
  • TPS7H3301-SP
  • TPS7H4001-SP

Thanks,

Azad
