TPS92380: Start-up sequence confirmation

According to the definition of VDDIO/EN, it serves as a power output and enable input for device. How much input current does VDDIO/EN pin need?
I can't use the general GPIO of the MCU to connect to this pin because of the output current capability of the GPIO is not enough to be used as a digital power input, is that correct? Thanks.

What is your GPIO current capability? You can find the current flow into VDDIO/EN on datasheet "7.11 Logic Interface Characteristics".

Are the 500us delay required?

When the VIN voltage powers up and the voltage is above the VINUVLO rising threshold (typically 4V), the TPS9238x enters standby.

As long as the VIN voltage is powered up and the voltage is higher than the VINUVLO rising threshold (typically 4V), I think you can pull VDDIO/EN high.

Is waiting 500us necessary?

Thanks. The max. current is 1.2 mA. I think it can be done with general GPIO. Then, the delay of 500 us should be controlled by the MCU.

Just noticed the EN and VIN are tied together on EVM, so I think it is ok for faster than this 500us delay.
