TPS25750: Installation failure for Application_Customization_Tool

Hi,

When my customer setup TPS25750 Application Customization Tool, the installation was stopped with showing the following error message.

Error getting URL
http://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/non-esd/gui_composer/runtime/gcruntime.properties

Could you give him any advice to solve the error?

I tried the online GUI, but the following error occurred while flashing to the device. Do you know the cause?
The GUI version is 7.0.4.

Hi Kensuke,

Is this a new project? Why I ask is we have a brand new device, the TPS25751, that uses a grand new GUI tool. We are moving away from the TPS25750 and recommend that customers starting new projects switch to this new device and GUI.

Thank you for your comment.We will consider using TPS25751 in the next board.

Right now, I'm trying to evaluate the original board with TPS25750.

Maybe GUI tools can only be used in TPS25750EVM?
In that case, do I need to access the registers directly?

Hello,

You can only use the GUI to program the EVM. If you are trying to program the TPS25750 on your system, you will need to save the firmware image (.bin file) and then program the external EEPROM directly using an external programmer.
