BQ27Z561-R2: chemical id mismatch

Part Number: BQ27Z561-R2

Hello Ti team,

Hello Ti team,

I am currently working on the fuel gauge learning cycle. In the chemical ID process, we got the chemical ID from Ti. The chemical ID was 3607. But chemical IDs are not matched with our battery. We are using a 420 mAh lithium-ion polymer battery. I give a battery datasheet and a chemical ID log file. Please verify the file and give me input.6170.GPCPackaged.zip6170.battery datasheet.pdf

  • Hey Rajesh

I reviewed the files that you sent in and I see many concerns. First I don't see that a Constant Voltage charge was implemented. After charge it went into a short discharge period  which should not happen. Lastly, during the discharge portion of the tested, the current is pulsing from -52 mA to 8 mA. The discharge should be a constant current discharge. Please address these concerns and redo the test.

    Regards,
    Nick Richards
