BQ25792: VTS votlage is 4.27V, but REG1F shows 0x01

Part Number: BQ25792

Hello Sir:

We have some questions on VTS.

We got charging stop status on CHRG_STAT_0 (REG1B), 0x07.

But we measured VTS voltage which was 4.27V

We also compare all register map parameters, we cannot find abnormal settings or flags.

Would you please let us know why REG1F shows 0x01 when VTS 4.27V?

Also I noted that ADC_TS was 0x00 on abnormal and ADC_TS was 0x02 on normal.

Whatever 0x00 or 0x02 on ADC_TS, does mean in HOT range?

All register shows below right side is normal charging parameters, left side is abnormal charging parameters.

Looking forward your feedback.

Thanks a lot.

  • Hi Statham,

ADC_TS=0V means JEITA HOT.  Can you confirm that your V(TS) measurement of 4.27V is actually at the charger TS pin?  Is possible that the resistor divider and thermistor is not connected as shown below:

    Regards,
